Its been a bit bloody hot here, ola de calor! My sister has visited and in this time we have baked cupcakes, gone to a big firework party on the beach, had a massive family paella, wondered el borne, beaching and much more. She is here for another 2 and a half weeks, its quite amazing.
We have also decided to document our outfits on our blog
We have also created a flickr:here!

Hope you're all enjoying your summers.

it has been a plan for a whie. i want to do a spanish course first, though, then a celta teaching english course so i can be a teacher.
what's lonely and down about it? oh gosh i love it and miss it!

Well, it can get a bit hard at times I guess it just depends how well you deal with being outside of your comfort zone (language, customs, without friends&familye ect). I would also advise you to look at other jobs here as the ratio of teachers to actual teaching jobs is really ridiculous! IE many more teachers than there are jobs. Low pay and poor working conditions. You will have to work about 4 hours with prepping and travelling and only get paid for one and thats if it doesn't get cancelled! But if you're lucky then you can find a good job in a school! I guess these are just my experiences though.
BTW I have set up a private job simular to my livejournal, mainly just for complaining. If you want to read it you are welcome too:
email me your address and i will invite you.

I think its always been fairly bad here, I mean as i said if you can find a good placement then great but just be prepared. Yeah also because its Spain be aware that they will use the recession or "la crisis" to their advantage meaning maybe they will try and cheat you out of a proper wage etc. I would advise more than anything to get something above board and a proper contract to protect yourself more than anything.
Any thing I can do to help, just ask!
